About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Estimator to join our growing team in this newly created role, on a full-time basis in Albion Park Rail office.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and turning project requirements into practical, competitive scaffolding solutions.

From the initial enquiry through to tender submission and project handover, you'll play an important role in winning work, supporting profitability and helping drive the continued growth of Builtrite Scaffolding.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation.

• Preparing accurate estimates, quotations and tender submissions.

• Assessing labour, materials, equipment, transport and subcontractor requirements.

• Developing practical, safe and cost-effective scaffolding solutions.

• Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing.

• Identifying project risks, assumptions, exclusions and cost implications.

• Working closely with clients, suppliers, designers and operational teams.

• Supporting project handovers and pricing variations where required.

• Contributing to improved estimating processes, pricing accuracy and profitability.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is detail-focused, commercially aware and confident taking ownership of their work.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in estimating, quoting, tendering or project costing within scaffolding, construction or a related industry.

• Sound knowledge of scaffolding systems and construction methodologies.

• The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work.

• Experience using estimating, CAD or scaffolding design software.

• Experience with Tekla Structures and ScaffPlan is highly desirable.

• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• A current White Card and driver's licence.

Relevant construction, estimating, quantity surveying or trade qualifications will be highly regarded.
