Mower Operator

Permanent Full-time position (Monday - Friday)Work based around City of Port PhillipDepot based in Port Melbourne

About The Role

As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides around the City of Port Phillip.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of KnoxMowing, detailing, litter removal, weed sprayingSafely operating and maintaining machineryEnsuring all work is accurately recordedObserving and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery

About You

Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) LicenceRide on Mower experience essentialCurrent White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtainAbility to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipmentKnowledge or herbicide applications and techniquesWillingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sunStrong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standardsWillingness to obtain a National Police Check
