Join Constructions is a leading construction company specialising in bespoke residential and commercial projects across NSW. With a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, we have built a reputation for excellence in the industry. Our dynamic and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth and achieving outstanding results for our clients. We are now looking for motivated Contract Administrators to join us at our Southern Highlands or Northern Beach projects.
Role Overview:
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the commercial and contractual administration of high-end construction projects from pre-construction through to practical completion.
Working closely with the Project Managers, Site Managers and Estimating team, the Contracts Administrator ensures procurement, subcontract administration, cost control, project documentation and contract management are completed accurately and efficiently, supporting the successful delivery of every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
Prepare scopes of work, tender documentation, and tender comparison reports.
Monitor project costs against budget and assist with monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasting.
Process subcontractor progress claims, supplier invoices and payment schedules.
Manage the full variations process — identifying, pricing, assessing and documenting client and subcontractor variations.
Maintain contract registers, project documentation and document control systems.
Coordinate drawings, specifications, RFIs and consultant information.
Monitor subcontractor insurances, licences and compliance.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
Support project close-out, handover and defects administration.
Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying or Project Management (desirable).
5+ years experience in a Contracts Administrator role, ideally within high-end residential or luxury construction.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in procurement, cost control and contract negotiation.
Current White Card (General Construction Induction) and driving licence.
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Lives around or can travel to Southern Highlands or Northern Beaches regions sites preferred.
