The Role 

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the Group Finance Manager is a critical technical finance role responsible for delivering accurate statutory reporting, managing group consolidations, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the integrity of the organisation's financial reporting framework. This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working through complex issues and driving outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Financial & Statutory Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports; lead statutory financial statements; manage group consolidations; maintain reconciliations and audit-ready documentation.  

• Technical Accounting & Controls: Ensure integrity of ledger transactions, resolve accounting issues, maintain controls and governance.  

• Audit, Risk & Compliance: Coordinate audits, identify control gaps, implement improvements and support statutory obligations.  

• Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Take ownership of complex issues, identify root causes and drive sustainable solutions.  

• Business Partnership: Partner closely with the CFO and stakeholders to support decision making. 

Key Success Measures 

• Accurate reporting, effective consolidations, strong audit outcomes, robust controls, issue resolution and trusted support to the CFO. 

About You 

• A technically strong finance professional who is a doer, enjoys solving problems, thrives in complex environments and follows issues through to resolution. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• CA or CPA qualified; experience in statutory reporting, group consolidations, external audit management, financial controls and complex multi-entity organisations.  

• Internal audit experience highly desirable.
