Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design, analysis, and execution of structural engineering projects, collaborating closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project requirements and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilise advanced engineering principles and software tools to design and analyse structural systems, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry components.
Perform site inspections.
Manage assigned projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents outlining project requirements, design solutions, and recommendations.
Implement rigorous quality assurance procedures to verify the accuracy and reliability of design calculations, drawings, and deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in consulting or design firms.
Preferred to have proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept, etc.
Thorough understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., AS 3600, AS 4100, AS 1170).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
