Join the Immunohistochemistry team within the Anatomical Pathology Department at Westmead Hospital and play an important part in delivering high-quality diagnostic services that support patient care across NSW. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you'll work alongside a skilled and supportive team. This permanent 32 hour per week position offers a fantastic opportunity to build your laboratory experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, while working with advanced technologies and helping to make a real difference in the lives of patients every day. What you'll be doing
Contribute to a high-quality pathology service. Perform a range of laboratory duties supporting key laboratory examination processes including but not limited to equipment maintenance and decontamination, handling of diagnostic specimens and archive material, preparation of reagents, disposal of hazardous chemicals and providing support to technical and scientific staff within an Anatomical Pathology environment.
