Project Risk Controls Specialist

Our KBR Adelaide team is seeking a Project Risk Controls Specialist to support the delivery of a major water infrastructure project that will help strengthen South Australia's future water security.
Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you'll support the identification, assessment and management of project risks and opportunities, providing the insights needed to drive informed decisions and successful project outcomes throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:Support the implementation of project risk management processes, procedures and tools across the projectFacilitate risk identification and assessment workshops with project stakeholdersMaintain project risk registers and ensure risk information remains accurate and up to dateAssist project teams in monitoring and managing project risks and opportunitiesSupport the development and tracking of risk mitigation strategies and action plansPrepare risk reports, dashboards and metrics for project and management teamsCollaborate with cost, schedule and project controls teams to integrate risk information into project reporting and forecastingProvide guidance and support to project teams on risk management best practiceContribute to the continuous improvement of risk management frameworks, tools and processes
What You’ll Bring:Degree qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or a related disciplineExperience applying risk management principles within a project delivery environmentSound understanding of project controls disciplines, including risk, cost and schedule managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate risk information effectivelyExcellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skillsExperience using risk management and project controls systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a complex project environmentExperience supporting infrastructure, water, utilities, energy, resources or major capital projects will be highly regardedCandidates must hold full Australian work rights and currently reside or willing to self-relocate to Adelaide.
