Role Description:
Act as the Workday Finance Subject Matter Expert throughout the implementation lifecycleProvide hands-on training, demonstrations, coaching and advisory support to finance and business usersAssist stakeholders in understanding Workday capabilities and identifying process improvementsSupport change management activities and user adoption initiativesWork closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery of the finance transformation program

What you'll be doing?
Configure Workday financial structures including Chart of Accounts, Cost Centres, Approval Authorities and WorkflowsDesign and implement Procurement and Accounts Payable processes from requisition through to paymentSupport integration with Australian banking platforms for payments and bank reconciliationsEnable consolidated financial reporting through Workday, Power BI and Microsoft 365Establish and test annual budget upload processes from Snowflake or similar platformsConfigure secure and simplified Workday access for approvers, invoice submitters and report usersSupport migration, validation and reconciliation of historical finance data from Great PlainsDefine governance, support and ongoing maintenance responsibilities post go-liveParticipate in testing, user acceptance activities, training sessions and cutover planning

Your Skills:
Demonstrated experience in finance system migrations and data validation activitiesExperience integrating Workday with banking platforms and third-party reporting toolsKnowledge of Power BI, Microsoft 365 and data integration processesStrong workshop facilitation, training and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and provide practical recommendations throughout the transformation journey
