Pay: $45-$50ph (Negotiable)

• Driving preferred, own car rquired, with vehicle allowance

• Ad Hoc hours are available for when a parent needs to travel

Our professional and busy Annandale-based family is seeking an experienced, reliable and nurturing nanny to provide high-quality care for their young daughter. The ideal nanny will be punctual, calm, proactive and attentive, with strong experience caring for toddlers and young children and the confidence to work independently.

Both parents have demanding work schedules and are looking for someone who can become a trusted and valued part of their family long-term. They are easy-going, health-conscious and value quality family time, as well as having a calm and well-organised home environment.

Morning responsibilities will include getting their daughter dressed and ready for daycare, preparing breakfast and everything she needs for the day, and completing the daycare drop-off. Once she has been dropped off, the nanny can assist with light household duties such as children’s laundry, tidying and preparing for the afternoon.

Before daycare pick-up, the nanny will return to the family home to prepare an afternoon snack, assist with dinner preparation and complete light household tasks. Following pick-up, the focus will be on providing attentive care, play and age-appropriate activities until a parent arrives home.

The family particularly values someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done and confidently gets on with things without needing to be asked.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Building a strong and trusting relationship with Alexandra
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks
• Daycare drop-off and pick-up
• Engaging Alexandra in age-appropriate play and activities
• Supporting her independence and development
• Children's laundry and tidying
• Managing Alexandra's belongings
• Light household duties related to childcare
• Assisting with family meal preparation when required
• Maintaining a safe, clean and hygienic environment
• Maintaining all aspects of Alexandra's daily care routine

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

• A non-smoker
• Experience caring for toddlers and young children
• Reliable, punctual, calm, nurturing and proactive personality
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
• Current National Criminal Record Check
• Required childhood vaccinations
• Excellent English and communication skills
• Strong understanding of child safety and security
• Comfortable using positive reinforcement and respectful behaviour guidance

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
