Days: Monday - Friday, alternate weeks*

Hours: 22.5 per fortnightly cycle, option for morning hours

Children: G12, B11 & B6

Pay: $45 -$55 per hour

* Monday-Thursday: 3.00pm-8.00pm, Friday: 2.30pm-5.00pm

* Option to add morning hours, increasing the working week to approximately 35 hours, flexibility around hours for the right candidate

* Family is flexible and happy to shape additional hours around the right candidate

• Drivers licence and own reliable car essential
• Occasional overnight may be available when Dad travels for work
• School holiday hours will vary and can be negotiated in advance

Our busy and active family based in Freshwater is seeking a warm, energetic and highly organised nanny to support his three school-aged children. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys becoming part of family life and is confident with a busy household routine.

The children have active schedules involving sport, tutoring, drama, debating and other extracurricular activities, so the family is looking for someone who can confidently manage moving parts, think ahead and keep afternoons running smoothly. Dad works long hours but is very hands-on with the children and takes a team approach at home. He is looking for a nanny he can trust to work autonomously rather than someone who needs to check in on every decision.

The ideal nanny will be warm, kind, high-energy and proactive – someone who gets involved rather than simply supervises and who can become a trusted mentor and supportive presence in the children’s lives. Experience is valued, but personality, attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the children are particularly important to this family.

The family values positive encouragement, clear boundaries and respectful behaviour guidance. Above all, Dad is looking for someone with positive energy who genuinely connects with the children. In return, they offer trust, autonomy, open communication and flexibility in both directions.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

• School pick-ups and managing afternoon routines
• Driving children to and from sport, tutoring and extracurricular activities
• Helping with homework and keeping the children organised for school
• Preparing children’s meals and snacks
• Managing the children’s schedules, belongings and activities
• Children’s laundry, including clothing and bedding
• Light household duties, general tidying and keeping shared spaces organised
• Running occasional child/family-related errands
• Encouraging age-appropriate independence and responsibility
• Providing calm, consistent and positive behaviour guidance
• Creating a warm, fun and structured environment for the children

• Confident and safe driving children to daily activities
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current National Police Check
• Australian-based child-related references

• High energy and confidence managing three active children
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Calm and patient approach to emotional regulation
• Proactive and able to work independently without being micromanaged
• Flexible and adaptable when schedules change
• Positive and respectful approach to behaviour management
