Child Psychologist - Full/Provisional

About the role

Confident Child Psychology is seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Psychologist (Full Registration or Provisional) to join our growing passionate team in our brand new office in Frankston, Victoria.

This is a part-time role with the opportunity to work closely with children and their families, providing high-quality psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, play therapy, and family therapy

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify children's needs and develop individualised treatment plans

• Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting children's wellbeing

• Maintaining detailed client records and adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines

• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices

• Maximum of 5 sessions per day

What we're looking for

• Fully Registered Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years' experience in child and adolescent psychology

• Provisional Psychologists are encouraged to apply

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidence-based interventions for children and families

• Experience in conducting assessments is valued but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, parents, schools and other health professionals

• Excellent time management, organisational, and documentation skills

• Commitment to continuing professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children
