Electrical Supervisor (S26)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a current Section 26 qualification (WA) to join our team supporting power generation assets supplying a major mine site in Western Australia.

This role operates on a 2/1 FIFO roster and is responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance, fault finding, and project works across various power generation systems ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical personnel on site

• Ensure compliance with WA mining regulations and statutory obligations

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of power generation assets (diesel/gas generators, switchgear, transformers, HV/LV systems)

• Manage breakdown response and fault diagnosis activities

• Review and approve electrical isolations and permits

• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and procedures

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the electrical team

• Coordinate with site operations to minimise downtime

• Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance records

Essential Requirements

• Current Section 26 Electrical Supervisors Certificate (WA)

• WA Electrical Workers Licence

• Strong experience in power generation within mining or heavy industry

• Experience supervising electrical teams in remote environments

• HV switching qualification (desirable)

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Strong understanding of WA Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations

• Ability to work autonomously on a FIFO 2/1 roster
