MC Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team at Adelaide Contract Warehousing. This is a crucial role that supports the overall operations of our road transport business.

What you'll be doing

• Operate B Double vehicles (MC class) to transport and deliver goods from our depot to interstate.

• Conduct pre-departure checks and maintain vehicle logs in accordance with company policies and safety regulations

• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods at delivery sites

• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to all relevant traffic laws and driving regulations

• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as required

• Report any issues or incidents to the management team

• Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle

What we're looking for

• A valid MC class driver's licence with a proven track record of safe driving

• Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) driving large commercial vehicles in a road transport or logistics environment

• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
