About the Role:
Join Townsville City Council as a Project Manager and lead the delivery of a diverse range of IT projects that support better services and outcomes for our community. Working across the full project lifecycle, you'll plan, coordinate and deliver projects of varying size and complexity, collaborating with stakeholders, vendors and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to lead project teams, manage competing priorities, drive continuous improvement and contribute to innovative technology solutions in a customer-focused environment that values collaboration, accountability and delivering real value to the business.
About you:
You are a collaborative and customer-focused project professional with experience delivering projects in dynamic and complex environments. Whether you have built your expertise through formal qualifications, industry experience, or a combination of both, you can effectively manage competing priorities, engage stakeholders, solve problems and drive projects through to successful completion. With strong communication, organisational and leadership skills, you are comfortable working across multiple projects, building productive relationships and adapting your approach to meet changing business needs.
