Trainer & Assessor

We are seeking a qualified Trainer & Assessor to coordinate and deliver specific training programs and workshops including National Units of Competency and Verification of Competency (VOC) training and assessment. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing and developing employees’ skills, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements. The role provides training support services directly to internal and external customers during pre-contract, project start-up and project execution phases. Training is delivered from our Bibra Lake training facility the “Monadelphous Employee Development Centre” and our operational sites, with a required flexibility to work in Perth and undertake ad hoc travel across our operations as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate VOC assessments in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Deliver training and assessment for Nationally Units of Competency as per RTO scope such as (WAH, CSE, GTA, Basic Fire, EWP, Rigging, Cranes, Scaffolding, Telehandler etc).
• Ensure all training processes and activities comply with relevant legislation and company policy and procedure.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of Monadelphous training programs, resources and materials.
• Work closely with business unit manager, senior compliance advisor, training coordinator and peer trainer assessors.
• Maintain compliance of RTO accreditation.
• Deliver Monadelphous enterprise workshops and training programs.

What you’ll bring:

• A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) is essential.
• A current High Risk Work License (HRWL) with RA, SA, WP, and LF is essential.
• A minimum of five years’ experience within the resources sector or a comparable industry.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A strong commitment to achieving quality training outcomes and a genuine passion for developing others.
• High attention to detail, supported by strong initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
