Duty Manager

We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to help lead the day-to-day operation of our busy food and beverage venue.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting staff, maintaining standards and ensuring the venue runs smoothly.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supervising the team during service

• Setting up & closing the venue

• Overseeing bar, restaurant, TAB and Keno operations

• Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation

• Managing staff performance and providing clear direction

• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally

• Completing end-of-shift procedures, cash reconciliation and reporting

• Supporting senior management with the overall operation of the venue

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous Duty Manager or hospitality leadership experience

• Experience with restaurant, bar, TAB & Keno operations

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• A practical, hands-on management style

• Confidence managing staff and making decisions during service

• A strong understanding of responsible service and venue compliance

• A current NSW RSA and RCG competency card

Availability to work nights, Public Holidays and weekends is essential.

The venue closes at midnight only twice per week, the rest of the week closes at 10pm, so there are no early morning finishes commonly associated with late-night hospitality venues.
