Apollo Blinds, Awnings & Shutters has been transforming Australian homes for more than 38 years. We are seeking an independent In-Home Design & Sales Consultant to represent our trusted Canberra business.

You will conduct in-home consultations with customers across the Canberra region, understand their requirements and recommend practical, stylish window furnishing solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a professional and positive first impression

• Consulting with customers in their homes

• Recommending blinds, awnings and shutters suited to their lifestyle, needs and budget

• Taking accurate window measurements

• Preparing and presenting quotations

• Following up opportunities and closing sales

• Maintaining accurate customer and sales records

• Working closely with our administration and installation teams

• Developing additional business through referrals, networking and proactive prospecting

You will be responsible for managing your appointments professionally, building strong customer relationships and maximising every sales opportunity.

We are seeking someone who is:

• Experienced in face-to-face or consultative sales

• Confident presenting solutions and closing sales

• Self-motivated, organised and reliable

• Comfortable working independently

• Professional, well presented and customer focused

• An excellent communicator who builds rapport quickly

• Able to manage their own diary and follow up consistently

• Prepared to travel throughout Canberra and surrounding areas

• The holder of a current driver’s licence

Experience in window furnishings, home improvements, interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, building products, real estate or premium retail will be highly regarded.

This role is exclusively available to an established contractor operating through an active Pty Ltd company.

• An active Australian company and ABN

• The ability to invoice Apollo for services provided

• Appropriate business insurance

• A current driver’s licence

• The systems and capacity to operate as an independent contractor
