About the opportunity
The HR Partnering function strives to achieve an integrated service offering aligned with the University's ambitious workforce strategy and organisational design objectives.To support continuity of client service over a period of internal movements within the HR Partnering team, we are seeking interest for experienced HR or Senior HR Partners to support key leaders. Instilling your solutions-focused approach, you will deploy strategic, contemporary HR expertise enabling the delivery of world-class educational and research outcomes.
Whilst we are currently recruiting for one HR partnering position in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, we are in a period of transition at the University, and we may have further opportunities across the HR Partnering team such as further Senior HR Partner and HR Partner vacancies across various portfolios, if you are interested in being considered for both levels, please note this on your cover letter.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
take a lead role in collaborating with peers across the other HR Centres of Expertise, in designing and presenting robust and client-focused solutionsdevelop tailored strategic and operational solutions for executive leaders across your client group spanning areas of talent and succession management, workforce planning, organisational design, reward and recognition and workplace cultureact as the change lead for your client base, supporting with workforce plans and ensuring the most appropriate organisational design is in place to deliver on strategysupport the Senior Manager and Associate Director in leading initiatives to build capability within the HR workforce which includes effective delegation, coaching and implementation of industry best practice frameworks, technology and processes.
About you
extensive experience as a senior HR professional within a large and multifaceted organisation (ideally within a tertiary environment of within a Centre of Expertise model)experience providing senior HR support within medical, health or allied health industries is highly desirablesignificant change management and project delivery experience across various HR capabilities and processesa high degree of capability working with and interpreting complex Industrial elements, enterprise agreements, awards and relevant policieselevated ability to build and manage trusted client relationships with tact and professionalism at the senior levelexceptional partnering skills as you will be liaising with the wider HR Partnering team and other HR functions to ensure a collaborative and consistent approach to service deliveryhighly developed influencing skills in relation to external stakeholders, including government bodies, union groups and university sector groups to drive positive outcomes in the interest of the University.
