Gilroy Catholic College is seeking a skilled and passionate Secondary Religious Education Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students. This position is Temporary Full-Time commencing in Term 3, 2026.

About the Role

• Teaching Religion across Stages 4 and 5 and Studies of Religion I and II Stage 6 with engaging, explicit and evidence‑based practice

• Creating supportive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs

• Using technology effectively to enhance learning, assessment and feedback

• Collaborating with colleagues to set high expectations and deliver consistent, high‑quality learning experiences

• Motivating students to achieve and develop a lifelong love of learning

• Continuously improving practice through professional learning and reflective teaching

• Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or willingness to obtain it

Qualifications, Accreditations and Experience

• Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth year student)

• NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted)

• Statements of Service

• Commitment to meeting CSPD's Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements as part of employment
