About You

St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Religious Education Teacher. This is a full-time, temporary position, commencing Monday, 7 September 2026 and concluding Friday, 23 October 2026.

Essential Criteria

• exemplary classroom practice and experience in teaching Stages 4-6 Religious Education
• Religious Education qualifications classified Category D under SCS Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead
• dynamic and innovative practitioner with suitable experience in teaching, programming and assessment
• ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students
• sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member
• confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles
• an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
