Insurance Large Loss Supervisor

Our work encompasses full construction, emergency repairs and maintenance work within the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. The role:

We are seeking a building professional to:

• Attend sites across Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands and South Coast of NSW

• Work out of our office in the Sutherland Shire

• Manage multiple projects at any given time ranging from $100,000 - $1M Plus

• Submit variations as required

• Liaise with loss adjusters and insurance contacts

• Schedule and manage trades

• Monitor project budget and profitability

• Produce progress invoices

• Complete all WHS required – including risk assessments and SWMS

• Attend emergency make safe jobs and be a part of the AIB on-call roster 

• Learn, use and maintain workflow system ( Experience with PRIME Ecosystem and advantage )  

Candidate requirements:

• Insurance supervision experience in large loss claims minimum 5 years experience 

• Relevant licenses and tertiary education - Cert IV Building & Construction / carpentry License

• Extensive knowledge of WHS and the BCA

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to build/maintain relationships with clients/insurers/brokers

• Customer focused and professional attitude

• Ability to handle pressure

• Good problem solving skills and pro active personality

• Friendly and personable manner 

• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask

• Competent with Microsoft Office and Outlook
