IT & Business Systems Support

About the Role

The Business Systems & Technology Officer is responsible for supporting and improving the company’s technology, business systems, digital platforms and data management processes.

This role combines IT support, systems administration, automation, data entry, website and social media management, and business improvement initiatives. You will be the primary internal contact for technology and system-related matters, helping the business operate more efficiently through smart use of technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT and systems support across the business.
• Manage business systems including CloudRent, Employment Hero, Power Apps, Power Automate, Jotform and future platforms.
• Identify and implement automations and process improvements to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate data across company systems, including data entry, audits and reporting.
• Set up and maintain computers, phones and technology equipment.
• Support staff onboarding, technology training and user access management.
• Coordinate outsourced IT support providers when required.
• Maintain cyber security controls, updates and system documentation.
• Manage and update the company website, online forms and integrations.
• Create and schedule social media content and monitor digital platform performance.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems, software and business improvement projects.

Essential Requirements

• Experience in IT support, systems administration or business systems management.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
• Experience with CRM, ERP or cloud-based business systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining data accuracy.
• Experience managing websites and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of cyber security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience building Power Apps solutions and automations.
• Experience with SharePoint, Dataverse or system integrations.
• Experience with Power BI reporting.
• Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and social media platforms.
• Experience with WordPress, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with Employment Hero or Jotform.
• Relevant IT qualifications or certifications.
