Anglicare Tasmania is seeking a permanent, full-time (76 hours fortnightly) Youth Development Coach based at Thyne House in Launceston.
This position is Monday to Friday working a mix of shifts each week (including 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm & 12pm-8pm). The successful candidate must be able to commit to a roster including this mix of shifts.
About the Role:
The Youth Development Coach (YDC) is responsible for delivering the Education First Youth Foyer (EFYF) model to Students. The role requires the YDC to work within the Advantage Thinking framework and to coach Students to achieve their goals in education and employment. The YDC will have at least fortnightly contact with the Student to ensure their Learning Plan is progressing to achieve adulthood independence. The role is responsible for delivering the EFYF model within an integrated and collaborative framework with relevant stakeholders and services in the community. The role may require the YDC to complete shift work as required.
