About the role
Integrity Business College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Business Trainer and Assessor to join our team for 3–4 days per week during standard business hours.
You will deliver nationally recognised Business Services qualifications, primarily:
BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills
BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business
The majority of delivery will be across the Certificate II and Certificate III programs, with some Certificate IV delivery and assessment included.
You will work with a combination of learner groups, including VETDSS students completing vocational training as part of Years 11 and 12, as well as adult and young adult trainees employed across a range of workplaces.
Training is delivered through a combination of face-to-face and live online classes. At least two of the 3–4 working days will involve delivering face-to-face classes at our Docklands office, with other classes delivered online through Microsoft Teams.
You will join a supportive and collaborative team, with access to established training and assessment resources, administrative support and structured class schedules.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering engaging and practical training across Certificate II, Certificate III and Certificate IV Business qualifications
Facilitating face-to-face classes at our Docklands office for at least two days per week
Delivering live online classes through Microsoft Teams
Supporting a combination of VETDSS students and workplace-based trainees
Adapting training to suit learners with different experience levels, learning styles and support needs
Assessing student work and providing clear, practical and constructive feedback
Monitoring student progress, attendance, participation and engagement
Providing additional guidance to students who require support to progress
Maintaining accurate attendance, assessment and student contact records
Working closely with our training, administration and compliance teams
Participating in validation, professional development and continuous improvement activities
What we’re looking for
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment that meets the applicable Standards for RTOs, such as TAE40122, TAE40116 with the required additional units, or an accepted equivalent
Current and relevant industry experience in business administration, customer service, workplace operations or a related Business Services area
Relevant Business qualifications at Certificate IV level or higher
Experience delivering and assessing nationally recognised vocational education and training
A sound understanding of competency-based assessment and RTO compliance requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to engage and support learners from a range of ages, backgrounds and workplaces
Strong written communication skills and the ability to provide clear assessment feedback
Confidence using Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms for online and blended delivery
A current Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one
Availability to work 3–4 days per week during standard business hours, including at least two days delivering face-to-face classes at our Docklands office
VIT registration is highly regarded but is not an essential requirement.
Experience delivering VETDSS programs, school-based training or workplace traineeships would also be highly regarded.
