About the role
Working within our Gillman Recycling Crushing Facility, you will be responsible sorting and processing steel and waste materials the conveyor line, while maintaining a high standard of safety and site compliance.
Day to day duties include:
Sorting recycled steel and metal products from a conveyor system
Identifying and separating materials safely and efficiently
General manual handling duties
Assisting with site cleanliness and maintaining a safe work environment
Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
The successful candidates will have:
Previous experience in a labouring, recycling, or industrial environment (preferred)
High Risk Forklift License (preferred)
Strong safety focus and awareness
Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
Reliable transport and strong attendance record
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Full working rights in Australia
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Shift Times:
Day Shift
Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
Overtime available as required (Including Saturdays)
