Health Focus Manufacturers
About the role
Inwards Goods Warehouse Supervisor – Full Time
Clontarf, Brisbane Northside | Monday to Friday
Lead from the Front – Hands-On Warehouse Supervision
Health Focus Manufacturers (HFM) is a proudly family-owned Australian manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products. Based on Brisbane's northside, we work with leading local and international brands and are continuing to invest in our people, systems and manufacturing capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Inwards Goods Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations team.
This is a hands-on supervisory role. You will lead and support our Warehouse/Stores team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk – you will be expected to lead by example and get involved in receiving, checking, storing and moving materials.
About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient receipt, storage and internal movement of raw materials and packaging components, while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, GMP and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily inwards goods and warehouse activities.
Work alongside the team, actively participating in receiving, checking, storing and moving materials.
Check inbound deliveries for damage, shortages, discrepancies and compliance requirements.
Ensure materials are accurately received into warehouse and inventory systems.
Maintain effective inventory control, including expiry management, stocktake accuracy and material identification and labelling.
Coordinate material picking and staging to meet production requirements.
Allocate daily tasks and provide clear direction to warehouse staff.
Ensure SOPs, Work Instructions, GMP and safety requirements are consistently followed.
Lead and champion the introduction of HFM's new MRP system across all warehouse stock control processes, ensuring accurate and consistent use by the team.
Support stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory checks.
Train, mentor and develop warehouse team members.
Identify and implement improvements to warehouse efficiency, accuracy and workflow.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines strong warehouse experience with practical leadership skills.
Ideally, you will have:
3–5 years' experience in a warehouse, stores or manufacturing environment.
Current forklift licence.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience with inbound goods, raw and packaging materials, and inventory control.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
Good organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate others.
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside your team.
Understanding of GMP, workplace safety and warehouse compliance requirements.
Experience with continuous improvement and warehouse best practices.
Understanding of GHS (Globally Harmonised System) classification and labelling requirements, and the safe handling and storage of hazardous raw materials, will be looked upon favourably.
Why Join HFM?
Proudly family-owned Australian manufacturer.
Join a growing business with ongoing investment in manufacturing capability.
Work with leading local and international brands.
Supportive team environment built around Quality, Efficiency and Respect.
Genuine opportunity to make a difference and improve warehouse operations.
Ongoing training and development opportunities.
Regular staff appreciation events, team lunches and morning teas.
Complimentary snacks and Friday morning teas.
Annual staff Christmas celebration.
Ready to Lead from the Front?
If you are an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys being hands-on, leading a team and making sure things get done properly, we'd like to hear from you.
At HFM, we value people who take ownership, work hard, support their team and take pride in getting it Right First Time.
