About the role
The Voluntary Intern Placement (VIP) Program will run for two weeks in January/February 2027 and again for two weeks in June/July 2027 (exact dates to be confirmed).
Participants in the program will complete 75 hours of voluntary work in a division at Legal Aid WA's Perth office under the supervision of an appointed solicitor.
Regional placements may be available on request; however Legal Aid WA will not cover any travel or accommodation costs associated with these placements.
To be eligible, applicants must be law students entering their final year of studies in 2027.

Pool conditions
This pool recruitment process will be open for 12 months from the date of finalisation of the recruitment process. It is important to note that appointment to the pool is not a guarantee that you will be offered a placement in the program.
