Participants in the Voluntary Intern Placement (VIP) program will complete 75 hours of voluntary work in a division at Legal Aid WA's Perth office, under the supervision of an appointed solicitor. gaining important professional experience while building your network.
Regional placements may also be available on request, however Legal Aid WA will not cover any travel or accommodation costs associated with these placements.
To be eligible, law students must be entering their final year of studies in 2027.
We will be taking on interns for the summer (January/February) and winter (June/July) VIP programs, dates tbc.
