Role Details

We’re seeking Machine operators to join our Visy Board Gepps Cross site. We have fixed term and fulltime positions available, working Monday to Friday on a rotating roster of day and afternoons.

Daily overtime applies based on a 35-hour work weekSome flexibility around hours may be considered for the right candidate

What You’ll Do

Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.Feeding product into the converting machines and arranging product at the machine discharge points.Assist in machine setup, dismantling and job change tasks for a production run.Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customersMaintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping always.

What You’ll Bring

As our new operator, you will be a team player with a strong work ethic. You will be committed to working safely and engaging with all safety processes and procedures, along with the following:

Previous experience in a manufacturing is beneficial, though open to all backgrounds.Comfortable working in a physically demanding role where you are on your feet for 12 hours.Continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn.Forklift licence is beneficial.
