ACCOUNT MANAGER - Container Transport

Paddock to Port is a Container Management & Transport business based in the western suburbs of Melbourne. We offer a range of services for our clients, from container management to quarantine and warehousing.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a super motivated and relationship-focused Account Manager – Container Transport to join our transport team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and help clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and support.

• Identify opportunities to grow accounts through additional products and services.

• Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales and retention targets.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of transport services.

• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.

• Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve issues.

• Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM system.

• Provide regular reports on account performance and sales activity.

About You

You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in the transport industry in account management, sales, or customer relationship management

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts.

• Commercial awareness with a customer-first approach.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
