About the role
As the WHS Business Partner, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Office of Sport's Health and Safety Management System (HSMS), partnering with leaders across the organisation to embed health, safety and wellbeing into everyday operations.
This is a strategic and influential role where you will drive safety culture, build leadership capability, improve risk management practices and deliver initiatives that create safer workplaces for employees, participants and visitors. You will work closely with executives and senior leaders to ensure WHS is integrated into planning, decision-making and operational delivery.
Responsibilities
About You
You are an experienced WHS professional with a strong track record of partnering with leaders to deliver meaningful safety outcomes. You combine strategic thinking with practical operational expertise and are confident influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. You have a passion for building positive safety cultures, developing leadership capability and driving continuous improvement through data, insights and evidence-based decision making. Your ability to communicate complex WHS matters clearly and build trusted relationships will enable you to succeed in this highly collaborative role.
