Join the Office of Sport as a WHS Consultant and help create safer, healthier workplaces across a diverse range of sporting, recreational and corporate environments.
About the role
In this hands-on role, you will provide specialist WHS advice and support to leaders and employees, helping to strengthen safety performance, ensure legislative compliance, and promote a positive safety culture across the organisation.
Working closely with the WHS Business Partner and key stakeholders, you will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System (HSMS), coordinate safety programs and initiatives, conduct audits and investigations, and use data-driven insights to improve safety outcomes across the Office of Sport.
Responsibilities
About you
You are a motivated WHS professional with strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, risk management principles and best practice safety systems. You enjoy building relationships and partnering with stakeholders at all levels, providing practical advice and solutions that improve workplace safety. With strong analytical and communication skills, you can confidently manage competing priorities while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and employee wellbeing.
