With established long-term contracts and a growing workload, we’re looking for a qualified Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, working across commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure sites. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a broad range of equipment and systems, from preventative maintenance and breakdowns through to fault-finding, repairs, installations and larger commercial projects.

We’re looking for someone who knows their trade, takes pride in their workmanship and wants a secure, long-term position with a growing local company.

About the role

You will be responsible for installation, servicing, fault-finding, repair and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across a range of commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure sites.

3rd and 4th Year Apprentices are welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Installation of commercial VRV/VRF and HVAC systems

• Install and commission mechanical services equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Australian standards

• Perform preventative maintenance and fault finding on commercial and light industrial systems

• Maintain accurate service records, asset registers and maintenance reports

• Carry out repairs on compressors, evaporators, condensers, fan motors, control systems and refrigeration circuits

• Identify refrigerant leaks and carry out compliant refrigerant recovery and replacement

• Provide clear documentation outlining cause of failure and recommended corrective actions

Must Haves

• Qualification in HVAC or Refrigeration, such as a Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning

• Current ARCtick Licence

• Valid Driver's Licence, White Card, Ochre Card (or ability to obtain), Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

Nice to Have:

• Experience servicing healthcare, government or critical infrastructure facilities

• Experience with BMS systems and fault coordination

• Experience managing site asset registers and maintenance schedules
