Business Development Manager

Persol Executive are supporting a growing non-bank lender that provides tailored funding solutions across commercial property and development finance. Backed by an experienced leadership team, strong funding capability and ambitious growth plans, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Sydney team on a permanent basis. The Role:From day one, you will have access to an extensive network of existing and prospective clients, together with a highly competitive product offering, providing you with a strong platform for success.This is an opportunity to take ownership of your own portfolio while working alongside an experienced leadership team within a growing business.The credit process is straightforward, allowing you to focus on what you do best - building relationships and originating new business. You will gather the required supporting information, generate the initial term sheet and work closely with the credit team to progress each transaction through to settlement. Key Responsibilities:Develop long-term relationships with property developers, commercial property investors, business owners and self-employed borrowersStructure funding solutions across commercial property and development finance transactionsWork closely with the credit team to progress applications through to settlementManage the end-to-end sales process while delivering an exceptional customer experienceRepresent the business in the market and continue to build its presence and reputation. About You:This opportunity will suit an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in commercial lending, private lending or development finance who enjoys building relationships and winning new business. You will ideally have:Previous experience working within a non-bank lender, commercial bank or private lending businessStrong business development and relationship management skillsExperience across commercial property lending, development finance or first mortgage lendingThe ability to structure lending solutions and manage more complex transactionsA self-motivated, relationship-driven approachStrong communication and stakeholder management skills To Apply:If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply.
