The Role

The successful applicant will support the operations of the Structured Workplace Learning program. They will evaluate enrolment and completion data and provide reports to the Structured Workplace Learning Coordinator.

The successful applicant will support the provision of selection, training and induction of students for the workplace, the induction and training of workplace supervisors, liaise with employees on all aspects of the program and foster networks for workplace teachers and assessors. They will monitor student progress in the workplace, including checking student logbooks for satisfactory completion and working hours.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
• obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

  • Demonstrated skills in developing, implementing and evaluating Workplace Learning programs.
  • Demonstrated well developed keyboarding and computer skills, including a working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Demonstrated sound written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, employers and parents.
  • Demonstrated sound organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and identify priorities.
