About the role
Working alongside the owners and management team, you'll help oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant and support the front-of-house team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys hospitality, likes working with people and takes pride in creating a well-run, welcoming restaurant.
Key responsibilities
Managing restaurant service and day-to-day operations
Creating staff rosters and keeping an eye on wage costs
Training and developing staff to maintain a high standard of service
Helping the team understand and maintain a good sequence of service
Building a positive and supportive team culture
Stock take and stock control
Monitoring wastage and general costs
Using the Lightspeed POS system
Supporting the team through busy services
Maintaining a high standard of customer service and restaurant presentation
About you
Previous experience in restaurant management or a senior hospitality role
Confident taking responsibility for a busy service
Enjoys working with and leading a team
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience with rostering and wage management
Understands stock control and stock take
Experience with Lightspeed POS
Enjoys training and developing staff
Night and weekend availability required
