Welcome to Punthill Albury

As part of our continued national expansion, Punthill Albury is our newest apartment hotel currently under development in the heart of Albury’s CBD. This 83-key property will offer a mix of spacious studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, purpose-built to cater to both corporate and extended-stay demand.

Strategically located on Dean Street, Punthill Albury sits at the centre of one of regional NSW’s key business hubs, with direct access to major corporate, health and education institutions, and strong traffic along the Melbourne–Sydney corridor. The property is designed to support growing demand for flexible, high-quality accommodation in a region experiencing significant infrastructure investment and economic growth.

For you as our Business Development Manager, this presents a genuine opportunity to build and grow a strong portfolio of corporate partnerships, tapping into a diverse mix of government, healthcare, education and commercial clients, and positioning Punthill Albury as the go-to accommodation choice in the region.

Responsibilities

Our sales philosophy is all about genuine relationship building, exploring a need, and providing a suitable solution – it’s a mutually beneficial partnership and a win-win for us and them. 

As BDM you'll identify, pursue, and secure growth opportunities for Corporate Accounts (B2B). You'll be the expert in sales at the hotel and partner closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure that we're on a pathway to achieve our strategic goals!

Your responsibilities will require you to:

• Drive direct corporate sales (B2B) to increase production and generate new corporate relationships
• Navigate and secure opportunities associated with major projects and institutions
• Cold-call, knock on doors, generate new leads & develop a strong corporate pipeline
• Increase brand awareness by improving current relationships & build strong relationships with new clients
• Conduct site inspections, client visits, attend industry events & work with a team-orientated approach
• Develop and implement sales plans and develop a targeted approach to grow our business to exceed targets

About You

The successful person must have:

• Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
• Demonstrated experience in B2B sales 
• Demonstrated ability to resolve problems or overcome objections
• High standards of attention to detail and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to make strategically aligned business decisions
• Passion for personal growth
