About the role
WELDER\ MECHANICAL FITTER
Mining & Hydraulic Supplies (MHS) is an ISO 9001:2015, PASS99 & OHSAS certified, Western Australian owned company based in Malaga, specialising in Filtration, Fuel, Hydraulics, Pumps and Seals. We are the trusted provider of products for the marine, offshore, mining and manufacturing industries and our range boasts some of the finest engineered and technically advanced products in the world’s marketplace.
MHS are looking for an experienced Welder\Mechanical Fitter to complement our existing team. This role is offered on a Full-Time basis and candidates must be based in Western Australia. Work is primarily workshop based with occasional site work. A competitive salary will be offered to the right candidate.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Essential
Minimum Class C Driver’s License (Manual) and must have own vehicle
Australian recognized valid Trade Certificate or working towards same
Light fabrication
Mechanical minded
General assembly of equipment
Desirable
Experience working on general mechanical fitting
General pipe install highly regarded
Time in a workshop
Fabrication ability
High Risk License
Ability to read and interpret drawings
White Card
Truck License
Forklift License
Scissor Lift License
Fire Fighting Ticket
Ability to tow a trailer
Plumbing Experience
Hose Making experience
Rigging Ticket
