Data Manager / Data Engineer Manager (EL1) and Data Analyst / Data Engineer (APS6) - Multiple Positions

The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is seeking APS6 Data Analysts and Data Engineers, and EL1 Data Managers and Data Engineers to join our Costing, Data and Infrastructure Branch. These roles provide an opportunity to contribute to the management, engineering and analysis of nationally significant health and aged care data that supports evidence-based pricing, funding and policy decisions.

Working in a collaborative and innovative environment, you will help deliver high-quality data solutions, strengthen data governance and reporting practices, and contribute to projects that improve health and aged care outcomes for Australians. We are looking for professionals with strong technical, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills who are committed to delivering quality outcomes.

To be suitable for role, applicants must hold the following formal qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in data management, data engineering or related discipline. 
• Experience in programming languages and tools, such as SAS, SQL or Python; OR
• Experience with cloud-based services, preferably with AWS data services including Amazon Redshift and AWS Glue; OR 
• Experience working with large and complex data sets to manage and support scalable data solutions, preferably in a health care or aged care context.
