Izzat Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our Hamilton team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).
What you'll be doing:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial transactions, fortnightly payroll, and reporting to ensure accurate, timely record keeping. Including;Generating, and processing of invoices and reportsManagement of financial records, accounts payable and receivableMonitor and actively follow up outstanding accounts payable (debtors)Assist in processing fortnightly payrollBank reconciliationsAssist in the preparation of quarterly and yearly financial results
What we're looking for:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including Payroll, Accounts Payable and ReceivableAdvanced bookkeeping skills and experience in the use of financial ERP systems, Xero is essentialHigh level of accuracy and strong attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with people at all levelsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointCurrent Class C Motor Vehicle Drivers LicencePrior experience in an engineering firm would be advantageous
