About the role
We require a qualified Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Truck Technician for the Kilsyth truck workshop. You can have the opportunity to gain a Testing License. You will work on an interesting variety of trucks, trailers and ancillary equipment, and cover routine servicing and maintenance, diagnostic procedures and repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cert III Diesel Mechanic certification required.
Vic roads testing license desirable.
Good communication skills
Reliable with good time management skills
Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
Current Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) truck driver's license
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working on heavy commercial vehicles
Experience with electronic diagnostic tools and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
