We are a well-established and growing family-owned business based in Bayswater, and we're looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our expanding team.

We've recently moved into a brand-new, modern workshop, giving our team a clean, professional, and well-equipped environment to work in.

About the Role

You'll be working on a range of heavy commercial vehicles.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

• Servicing and maintaining heavy vehicles

• Truck and trailer repairs and maintenance

• Preventative maintenance and inspections

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding

• Working alongside our experienced workshop team

• Helping keep our growing fleet safe, reliable and on the road

What We're Looking For

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Experience servicing and repairing trucks and trailers

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent recognized qualification required

• Previous commercial workshop experience

• High attention to detail and pride in your work

• Great work ethic and positive attitude

• Self-motivated and willing to learn and develop

• Own basic tools – specialty tools provided

• Current driver's license

• MR/HR license highly regarded

• Willingness to obtain an MR/HR license will be supported by the business

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Valid Australian work authorization
