We're looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our growing team. This full-time role places you at the forefront of complex, high-profile projects across NSW, with a strong Cadastral focus. You'll play a key leadership role mentoring junior surveyors, driving technical excellence, and contributing directly to MNG's continued growth and reputation.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly capable Senior Surveyor with deep technical expertise, strong leadership instincts, and a commitment to quality outcomes. You'll take ownership of complex deliverables, guide junior team members, and be a trusted point of contact for clients and stakeholders. 

What You Bring

You'll be leading the delivery of nationally significant projects. Central to this role is your ability to work autonomously, ensure rigorous quality standards, and elevate the capability of those around you through knowledge sharing and mentorship. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Lead and independently execute Cadastral, Engineering, Detail, and Infrastructure surveys across the greater Sydney area.
• Review, reduce, and quality-check field data, identifying and resolving issues before final output.
• Prepare final survey data and plans to the rigorous standards of Federal, State, and Local Government clients.
• Process and manage field data in CAD and other appropriate formats, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical oversight and day-to-day mentoring to graduate and junior surveyors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, delivering excellent service and clear communication.
• Ensure all surveying equipment and vehicles are maintained in line with Workplace Health & Safety standards.
• Contribute to process improvement, quality assurance frameworks, and knowledge-sharing across the team. 

What We Need

• Degree qualifications in Surveying (TAFE qualifications considered with significant experience).
• Registered or eligible for registration as a Licensed Surveyor in NSW.
• Substantial experience conducting field surveys in NSW, with demonstrated expertise in Cadastral projects.
• Proven ability to independently reduce, check, and finalise survey data and prepare compliant plans.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Magnet, and/or Civil3D.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability, with experience guiding junior team members.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated track record delivering time-critical projects, both independently and as part of a team.
