About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Customer Service Officer to support our PIL Australia team in Fremantle. You will join a friendly and supportive team that has a wealth of industry experience and is dedicated to delivering amazing customer service and will support your professional growth and career.

 As a Customer Service Officer, you will work to support both our local and national customers. As the first point of contact, you will maintain and develop relationships with our clients, while assisting them with their enquiries and helping to complete their bookings.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience working in exports or imports within shipping or freight forwarding

• Be an excellent communicator over email and phone

• Have a passion for delivering world-class customer service.

• Be well organised and adept at managing your time

• Have experience in meeting deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.

• Enjoy working both in a team and independently.

• Have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365.

• Have a general interest and knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry. Prior experience in the Australian / New Zealand shipping industry is highly desirable, but not essential!
