Join Our Kitchen Team

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at The Dairy Ravensbourne.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic chef looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment while being part of creating memorable experiences for our wedding and event guests.

About the Role

Work with in our easy going and evolving kitchen team, you will assist with the preparation and service of high-quality food for weddings, private functions and events.

Your responsibilities will include:

-  Assisting with food preparation and cooking across various sections of the kitchen

- Supporting the kitchen team during busy wedding and event services

- Preparing ingredients and maintaining high standards of presentation

- Following recipes, portion controls and food safety procedures

- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workstation

- Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation

- Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team

-  Upholding our high standards of food quality and service

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Passionate about food and developing their culinary skills

- Reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic

- Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

-  A strong team player with a positive attitude

- Well presented and professional

-  Available to work weekends and evenings as required by our wedding and events schedule

- Ideally experienced in a event kitchens, although this is not essential 

What We Offer

- $70,000 salary per annum

- 40-hour contracted working week
