About The Role
We have multiple roles available for:
• Heavy Diesel Mechanics 
• Fitters
• Boilermakers  
In these roles you will carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on 35 tonne excavators, CAP 927-988 loaders, modern crushers & screening plant for our quarry operations at our Lima South site, there may also be maintenance required at other local sites. Duties will include, but not limited to:
 

Duties & Responsibilities
• Follow all OH&S procedures at all times
• Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and completing work orders and urgent tasks in a timely manner
• Maintenance and repair of heavy diesel plant & equipment including excavators, loaders, crushers and screens
• Record all maintenance activities for each piece of plant and equipment and completion of service sheets requiring good literacy skills
• Routine inspection/condition monitoring and preventive works of all plant and equipment
• Competent in interpreting drawings and schematics
• Responsible for repair, modification, assembly and overhauling of equipment
• Ensure stoppages, performance issues or breakdowns are rectified in a safe and timely manner

Skills & Experience
• Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Fitter qualifications and 2 years post trade experience
• Fault finding and diagnosis experience highly regarded
• Crushing and screening equipment experience highly desired
• Experience with mobile equipment with industrial automation, wiring, and systems including low voltage, fuel, cooling, hydraulics and sensors 
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task, combined with strong attention to detail and able to deliver high quality work
• Good computer skills
• High energy and good positive “can do” attitude to get the job done
• Provide two references 
• Current drivers licence
