The Mansfield Park Hotel is a well-established community venue with a loyal local following, offering great hospitality across food, beverage, gaming and accommodation. We're seeking an experienced and driven Venue Manager who leads from the front, builds strong teams, and thrives on improving performance across all areas of a busy hospitality operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving venue growth. You'll play a key role in shaping the future success of the venue while leading a team that takes pride in creating memorable experiences for every guest.

About the Role

As Venue Manager, you'll take ownership of the venue's day-to-day operations, working closely with department leaders to drive performance, strengthen culture, and deliver outstanding hospitality across all departments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing front and back of house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences

• Driving venue performance through strong operational leadership, commercial awareness, and clear accountability

• Overseeing daily operations across the bistro, bar, gaming, bottle shop, accommodation and other key revenue streams

• Managing labour costs, rostering, stock control and venue profitability

• Building a positive, high-performing culture through recruitment, coaching and ongoing development

• Ensuring compliance with RSA, RSG, WHS and licensing requirements

• Maintaining high service standards and a strong focus on continuous improvement

• Collaborating with senior leadership on promotions, events, marketing initiatives and revenue growth opportunities

About You

You're a hands-on hospitality leader who genuinely enjoys developing people and creating environments where teams and businesses can thrive. You bring strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering quality experiences for guests.

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience leading a high-volume pub, hotel, or hospitality venue

• A track record of driving operational performance and achieving commercial results

• Strong leadership skills and experience building engaged, high-performing teams

• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management abilities

• Confidence managing budgets, labour costs, stock control and venue KPIs

• A customer-first mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Current RP Badge, RSG, or the ability to obtain them
