Restaurant Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensuring a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the team during service

• Prepare staff rosters and manage shift allocations

• Ensure excellent customer service and smooth daily operations

• Handle function and event enquiries, bookings and customer requests

• Assist with function planning and coordination

• Place and manage food, beverage and general stock orders

• Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage

• Assist with opening and closing procedures

• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace standards

• Train, support and motivate team members

• Assist with staff performance and day-to-day team management

• Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally

• Assist with cash handling and daily administration

• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager/Owner to improve operations

• Ensure the restaurant is well presented and ready for service at all times

About you:
You will have previous experience in a supervisory or senior hospitality role, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to confidently lead a team in a busy restaurant environment. You will be reliable, hands-on, customer-focused and comfortable taking responsibility for the smooth running of a shift.

Hours: Part-time – approximately 30 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, based on experience, plus superannuation.
