Cardiac Scientist

This role is integral to providing high-quality diagnostic services across Holter Monitoring, ECGs, and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring.

You’ll work closely with fellow Cardiac Scientists, Consulting Cardiologists, and administration staff to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-focused outcomes. Clinical guidance will be provided by our Senior Cardiac Scientist. Full-time staff will have access to flexible hybrid work arrangements (WFH).

We are seeking both Full-time and Part-time applicants for this position.

Nurses with cardiology experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret, and complete preliminary reports on Holter Monitors.

• Provide clinical support for ECGs and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors.

• Assist collection staff with the use of Cardiology devices.

• Troubleshoot and provide support to collection and laboratory teams.

• Contribute to the timely release of patient results.

What we are looking for

We’re seeking someone with strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to patient care. You’ll bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in healthcare science (specialising in cardiac science), or cardiology nursing experience.

• Experience in interpretation and preliminary reporting of Holter Monitors and ECGs.

• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new applications.
