The Attachment Space - North Brisbane Psychology is seeking a compassionate and reliable Psychologist to join our growing team in Clontarf, QLD. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact on clients' mental health and wellbeing. You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment dedicated to providing high-quality psychological services to our diverse client base. This role is integral to our mission of delivering evidence-based psychological care that fosters emotional growth and resilience.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns
Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Providing direct psychological interventions, including individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducational sessions
Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation and client records in compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referral sources to ensure holistic client care
Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimise outcomes
Contributing to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and best practice standards
Attending clinical supervision and professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical competency
What we're looking for
Current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification, with completion of AHPRA-approved psychological training
Postgraduate qualifications or specialist training in areas such as clinical psychology, counselling psychology, or related disciplines (highly valued)
Demonstrated experience in providing psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions
Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and contemporary psychological practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations
Proficiency in clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health record systems
A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards and codes of conduct
High level of cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences
Experience working with attachment-related issues, trauma, or relational difficulties (preferred)
